Without much cluttered visuals, Checkers has simple board displaying green and red coloured pieces on both sides which make the player understand basic attempts in a single go. And now comes the most interesting part which will let you spent minutes of pleasure while playing the game. A player has one fighting chance known as,” king” if a player using his skills is able to move his own piece to the last row of the opponent’s side, in that case player’s this piece would be crowned as king. The added advantage of being a king is that, it can move both forward as well as backward. 

Game rules to rule the game:

Checkers can easily be mastered; player just need to learn some simple set of rules, which are, a gamer can only move diagonally, either on left or on right but not straight.  Moreover, a player can move the piece by simply dragging it to the desired square.  A simple move involves sliding a piece diagonally to an adjacent unoccupied dark square. While making the hands perfect on the checker’s board, player needs to learn the trick of a “jump”. A gamer can make his/her piece jump over the piece of his opponent in an adjacent square, to an unoccupied dark square, to eliminate the piece of his opponent. And if the player gets the similar chance to jump, he/she can make the same kind of move again. 

Time limit is another constraint to master the game, as player needs to complete each and every move within 15 minutes; the countdown timer on the left side is used to track the timings of respective side. And for the player to know the current status he/she can always refer to the scoreboard, which tracks the actual status and the number of pieces captured by each player. 

    

Strict rules limit your locomotion, and there are times when seemingly every option has been exhausted with no option to success in sight.
